Our cheese are in france this week-end

This week-end, our cheeses will be in France at the Cheese and Wine Fair in Coulommiers, from 11th to 14th of April.

We were at "Printemps grandeur nature"

 

This 5th of April was Printemps grandeur Nature in Herve, organized by Vivacité and the business club of Herve. Volunteers worked on various places.

On pictures you can see a pond being cleaned along the Ravel (line 38) between Herve and Battice. You can also see Adrien Joveneau and Bert Kruismans cheering volunteers while animating live for their radio show.

Not far from there, at the headquarter located in the Hall des Criées in Herve, other animations were happening all day long. Herve Société had borrowed the ASBL FROMAGE DE HERVE its educational cheese making module.

The spectators were able to see how the milk was transformed in curds the cheese. A tasting of the Herve cheese all along its various maturing states was organized. Jean-Marc Cher, member of the Herve Society and whose the cheese making has no secret for, was gladly answering questions from young and old spectators.

Every hervian at work this 5th of April
